Natural Swimming Pools

I had the chance to go swimming today with the hubby and the boys at someone's house who had gotten an above ground pool (just one of those smaller size ones that are about 4ft deep).  My husband wants to buy one near the end of summer when we (hopefully) have money and the price goes down. It got me thinking about my ideal swimming pool. That is what I would get if we buy land/house. I came across the idea of the natural swimming pool originally when reading Mother Earth News and loved the idea.

I came across a post on Offbeat Home about Offbeat pets we would have if we could....either because they are illegal or imaginary....or because certain pets are offlimits due to budgets and/or being in a rental.   But it had got me thinking and this is my personal list of my offbeat fantasy pets.
Where we are now we are not allowed to have pets.....we do have a pet duck which we keep outside and our landlord lets us get away with but other than that pets are off limits for us.  We are hoping after we make our big move out west we would be able to get some cats and a dog (a husky) or even two dogs (add a mastiff).   The other animals we want to get chickens, guinea fowl, peacocks, goats and/or horses we want to get if we manage to buy some land and build our dream home in an area that would allow farm type animals, but that is a long, long way down the line.  The most we are able to hope for right now is that in a year or two after we move to Oregon, we'll be able to get a dog and a cat or two (depending on our financial situation).
