Hibernation
Its that time of year when all I want to curl up in bed with the hubby, snuggled under our faux fur blankets. Its the time I year when all I want to do is curl in front of a fireplace (which we don't have...pout) and drink warm cups of tea or cocoa. Its the days I dream of curling up into little nooks to read or dreaming about the day I have a closet big enough that I can fit our bed inside for a cozy little cuddle nest. Its also my favorite time of year for building blanket forts with the kids in our living room.

My Dark Forest Themed Bedroom
I've been visualizing my future bedroom once we move to Oregon. I decided on a dark forest theme for my bedroom. Lots of blues, purples with rich velvets and satins combined with twigs, ferns, skulls, fairies and gargoyles.

New Sketch-Charcoal "Archer"
I was working on cleaning/organizing my house when I found my sketchbook....I got distracted. It has been a long time since I did any sketching and years since I used charcoal.

Motorhome Inspiration
Pics I found when looking for inspiration for when I am redoing the inside of our 1975 Titan. I want to paint the inside a turqoise blue, rip out the carpet and put tiles (something that looks like stone) and the couches will be red with purple accent pillows. I will also be hanging solar twinkle lights around the ceiling (which will be blue).
( Pics are from google search and Moon to Moon blog)
Updates.....
It has been a while since I posted anything, so I figured what the hell. I have been in bed with pneumonia for the past week which has been a lot of fun. I'm praying I am better by Monday...I missed enough school this week. Luckily (for me) school was canceled Mon and Tues (due to the storm) so at least I didn't miss more than two days. There has been a lot going on since I was on here. Halloween came and went...since I was sick and my hubby had class, my neighbors took Punk and Twinkle trick or treating with them. This year Punk was a werewolf, Twinkle was a rockstar and Bubba was a dragon. I was feeling so miserable I didn't get many pics of the kids this year....or do any of the usual. Which was pretty disappointing. We recently bought a motorhome for our one-way road trip out west. It is a 1975 Titan....very retro style RV...that we paid a total $1,000. for. It is currently in the shop getting road worthy. As soon as the hubby gets his financial aid check for school we are going to be able to pay off the repair bill and be able to bring it home. I have a lot of plans for fixing it up....tearing out the carpets, painting the inside and out,etc.etc. I can't wait to get started. School is going well...my midterms I got C's and B's so I am pretty happy with that. The kiddos are doing well in school as well. Since we bought the RV I have been going through and packing up decorative stuff/books as well as going through our things and deciding what to keep and what to sell. Last weekend we had a yard sale (which is when I became sick), to sell off as much as possible. We will need to have another yard sale before our move since we don't plan on taking any furniture with us and I'm sure I will have a better idea of what we are going to keep once I start packing up the RV and mini van. This past week was also the week of Hurraicane Sandy which swept up the east coast. According to the google crisis map it was supposed to go right through Lancaster, but luckily for us (unluckily for others) it headed North and we were pretty much untouched. We had flooding everywhere in the area but everything was back to normal within a few days.
